Feature: Marc by Marc Jacobs Hillier Hobo

today our brain juices poured into exploring  a design that will not be new to many of us - the Marc by Marc Jacobs Hillier Hobo!

with so many celebs swearing by it, we are definitely convinced of its functionality with its 3 ways of wearing - from shoulder, short by handle and long by detachable sling, and also, as a crossbody!
especially loving the way it hugs the body without weird structured shapes jutting out of your body parts and this way, im happy, because random passerbys are not going to side-sweep and dent my bag anymore (shows teeth)
All in all, this has been one of our favorites, because who doesnt like a bag that can go with ANYTHING, from shorts, to formal wear, to denims ?

To make it easy for you to decide if this shall be IT, I found this summary list of reviews that fellow hillier hobo owners said:

• Leather is "to die for."  Actual words women used: "thick but supple," "buttery soft," and "yummy."
• Casual but elegant.  Actual words women used: It's "casual chic."  "I also love how simple it is, but still doesn't look cheap or tacky."  "Classy, while being fun." 
• Comfortable to use.  Actual words women used: "crazy comfy," this is my "hands-down go-to-bag," "Just a great everyday bag!"  "It has just gotten better with time."
• Extremely versatile.  Actual words women used: "When I'm going to  be out for a while or out-of-town, I take her because she can be worn casually cross-body or a bit more discretely on the shoulder."
• Lot's of space with pockets.  Actual words women used: "It's so roomy…"  It "fits tons."  "I also keep the things I use most (phone, sunglasses) in the little pockets, so they don't get lost and I don't have to dig."
• A bag that people notice.  Actual words women used: "Every time I wear this bag I receive so many compliments."

Well of course there are some complaints too, what i read was "leather does not last", "pick up dye from clothes", both of which i have personally yet to experience (for the latter, it happens with any bag even with a chanel, so long it isnt black, we are never safe". overall this bag still polled a grand 4.5 points out of 5, so that statistics speaks for themselves!

We pretty much lost count of the number of colors we saw available, but here are our picks:

OUR PICK: Michael Kors Resort Collection 2014

I've always love how the great MK can put together elegance so casually. (so much, his works are dominating my ipad wallpapers of late)

Have picked out these lovely pieces from the collection. Almost perfect for sunny land?

One of my personal fav new-age fashion icon Chiara sported this gorgeous shirt dress of this collection at the MK milan opening. Completely refreshing our interest in this collection.

A cruise collection or resort collection, sometimes also referred to as holiday or travel collection (collection croisière, in French), is an inter-season or pre-season line of ready-to-wear clothing produced by a fashion house or fashion brand in addition to the recurrent twice-yearly seasonal collections - spring/summer and autumn (or fall)/winter - heralded at the fashion shows in New York, London, Paris and Milan.

The Chanel Boy series undoubtedly won too many fans ever since its debut (IMO their best , over the reissue and classic flaps). Open to debates though?
